Summary of Projects funded by the Embassy around China
Since 2005, the Embassy has been a dedicated supporter of Bai Nian (BN) Vocational School which provides vocational education to children of migrant workers in Beijing. In 2006, Minister of State for Overseas Development, Mr Conor Lenihan officially opened the Language Laboratory of the school, funded by Irish Aid. Funding was also provided for general running costs in 2006 and 2007.
