> BUSINESSPersons wishing to travel to Ireland to conduct business should apply for a business visa. You are not entitled to work in Ireland , but you may conduct business, and you must intend to leave after a maximum of 90 days stay. It is not possible to change your status while in Ireland . If you are a visa-required national and going to Ireland for a business meeting you should present the following with your visa application:

Please note that If the document you submit is only in Chinese, please lodge a translation of the document as well. Please note that if you submit any original documents that you require us to return back to you, you must submit a copy of the document also or else we will presume you do not require the document to be returned. In some circumstances an application may be lodged without the applicant's passport however no decision will be issued until the passport is submitted. We aim to make a decision on your application as soon as possible however, please allow five working days for your application to be processed providing all documents required have been submitted.
Before you complete your visa application please thoroughly read the information contained in General Information for all Visa types. Applicants intending to set up a business in Ireland must present a letter of permission to do so from the Department of Justice, Equality & Law Reform. A visa application will not be considered until such permission is obtained.
